Silver Spring Off-Site
Teens who have completed 7th-10th grades
Teen Adventure has won several "Best Teen Camp" awards in the Silver Spring area. The program is located just minutes from the main camp grounds and offers an "exclusive" teen feel, including tailored activities and trips. Each day is filled with opportunities for teens to make new friends, participate in fun activities, learn new skills, and hang out with counselors who care about them. Some of our incredible off-grounds trips include:
- Awesome water parks like Splashdown and Great Waves in Virginia
- Roller skating and ice skating
- All -time Teen Adventure favorite Beaver Dam Swim Club
- Bowling and Laser Tag
- Build character while participating in fun team-building activities
- and so much more!
Electivities
Teens also have the opportunity to take part in our Electivities which include our famous on-grounds activities like go-karts, archery, high ropes, and more!
Teen Adventure Staff
A major part of the Teen Adventure experience is our staff. Most are college-age students who are excellent role models and who know how to relate to teenagers. They desire to build meaningful relationships with teens and help them to develop into the mature young adults they need to be in order to succeed in life. All of our staff hold a true commitment to Christian values.
We want each teen to have an amazing time and build character as well. We intentionally build our program to meet the needs of each teen and help them develop foundational life skills. We want to help them in:
- Developing positive social interactions with their peers
- Being challenged emotionally and mentally during their group times
- Becoming more mature and responsible on our overnighters
- Learning respect as they accept and relate to one another
- And much more
Overnighter
If you sign up for a Teen Adventure Overnighter Week, be prepared for plenty of stories and incredible memories! Our overnighters are totally awesome. Teens are “spoiled” with private charter buses (with A/C and video screens, of course), supervised hotel accommodations, and most importantly, trips to:
Week 2: Dorney Park, PA
Week 4: Ocean City, NJ
Week 5: Hershey Park, PA
Week 7: Ocean City, NJ
These trips are the highlight of every teen’s summer. Make sure you sign up early to get your spot!
Please be sure both you and your child sign and return the conduct agreement in the application. Teen Adventure requires a signed conduct agreement for each child currently enrolled. You can also download the conduct agreement from the Schedules & Forms page.
